We are really sorry to hear of the passing of Henchi's brother, Michael Graves. Michael played a big role in the group during their heyday as their road manager along with many other things he did for the band. He was a great person with an excellent personality and sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Above is a photo of him with the band at Ceasars in Lake Tahoe taken in 1982. From left to right standing: Eddie (Boom-Boom) Washington-drums, Gino DiQuinzio-sax, Jerry Krenzer-bass, Tony Bunch-percussion, Bob Yeazel-guitar, left to right sitting: Henchi-vocals, Michael, Eddie Costa-keyboards, Freddy-vocals

The photo above
was taken on May 3, 2008. It was an excellent performance. I talked
with him after the show and he was feeling good.
CBS News Channel 4 in Denver did a story and a video segment on Henchi on May
26, 2009 . You can view both by clicking here.
They also published an article on his passing on June 9th. You can read
that by clicking here.
A
photo of Henchi along with a brief story was also posted on the Denver Nuggets
website for about a week and it had a link to an article written in the Denver
Post. You can read this article by clicking here.
Here is a link to a photo of Henchi on the Golden Moments 2009 page on the NBA website.
