FOREIGN PRESSINGS

In France, the Dance LP was released as The Prophets of Funk on CBS. The front and back cover differs considerably from the US pressing but the track listing is the same.
In the Phillipines, "Um, Um, Um, Um, Um, Um" was the A-side of this single, with "Come Down" as the B-side. It was released on the Stateside label and manufactured under license by Dyna Products, Inc. |
In Argentina the song "I Want to Dance, Dance, Dance" with "Funky to the Bone" as the B-side was released on the Music-Hall label in 1974, as a 33 1/3 rpm 7" single. This is a white label promo. |

It seems unusual that in the seventies there was a Reprise pressing plant in Turkey. Above is a Turkish picture sleeve for the release of "I Want To Dance, Dance, Dance" on Reprise. It was released there in 1975. All non-U.S. releases of the single used the same A-side as The Record Company used in 1972.

In 1970, "Um, Um, Um, Um, Um, Um" was released in France on the Bell label with the above picture sleeve.
Reprise in France used this as the picture sleeve for the single. It was released in 1973 in that country. The opposite side is the same but upside down. |
"Cartoon People" was released on DJM Records in 1975 in Italy with an interesting picture sleeve. |
