The Freddi-Henchi Band will be the final act of an evening of fun to benefit the tornado victims of last month's tornado in Windsor. The event will take place on June 29, 2008 at Nissi's in Lafayette, CO from 5:30-10:00 PM. The Freddi-Henchi Band will be performing a full set starting at 9:00 PM. Other acts performing that night will include Jock Bartley and Acoustic Firefall, Richie Furay, and several others. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to The Windsor Community Foundation. In October 2006, Rhino Records released a 4 CD Box Set called What It Is: Funky Soul and Rare Grooves (1967-1977). It consists of tracks from the Warner Brothers/Reprise vaults. It includes The Freddi-Henchi Band track, "Funky to the Bone." This set received excellent reviews including being ranked a top Christmas gift in the music section of Playboy Magazine in the December 2006 issue. It is available from the Rhino Records website, or from Amazon.com. It is also available in a very limited edition vinyl 45 box set.
